Please find enclosed the first edition of NET-BIOME newsletter, in which there is an article about the Azorean Biodiversity Group. In this editionn tehre is a description of the NET-BIOME project and of its main activities along the past months of implementation. Three partners, one from each corner of the earth (or better, oceans) present themselves: Reunion Island, the Azores archipelago and French Polynesia. Finally, the voices of local initiatives regarding biodiversity are spelled out in the News in Brief.
