RAVE on Terra Brava

Took place between September 23 and October 2 a RAVE (Rapid Assessment Visual Expedition) on Terra Brava Terceira Island.

The aim of a RAVE is to get in a short time, a portrait of a natural area. It is intended that, when inserted into a general scheme of conservation, in collaboration with scientists or politicians, inspire a change of attitudes in the portrayed ecosystem and in the environment in general.

This RAVE was organized by the Azorean Biodiversity Group of the Center for Agricultural Research and Technologies of the Azores, by the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo and by the Natural Park of Terceira.

It was attended by 12 professional and amateur photographers, resulting in a selection of 31 photographs that will be on exposition at the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo from the 15th of October and for a period of two months.
