I got my Licenciatura (long cycle degree) in Biology at the University of Granada (Spain) in 2015.
My areas of interest are plant ecology, science communication and environmental education. I have been involved in different projects in Spain, Estonia, Portugal and Italy. In the Azores Islands (Portugal), I have been working on several activities and projects related to Azorean forest ecology, population relationships with local biodiversity and citizen science. I did my MSc thesis on Management and Conservation of Nature (University of the Azores) about invasive plants on Terceira Island (Azores) in terms of diversity, distribution and local’s perspectives under the supervision of prof. Rui B. Elias and Dr. Isabel R. Amorim.
Currently, I am working at the European Alien Species Information Network - EASIN (Joint Research Center of the European Commission) on citizen science and the development of the EASIN communication strategy.
