Post-Doc Researcher of the GBA integrates an International Technical Mission of the UN in Cape Verde

The postdoctoral researcher of the Azorean Biodiversity Group (CITA-A) and the Department of Biology, University of the Azores, Arthur Gil was one of 12 members selected by the international agency UN-Spider UN to integrate the July 29 August 3rd the International Technical Advisory Mission in Cape Verde developed during this period. The objectives of this mission were to assess the current situation and advise the Government and Public Administration of Cape Verde in view of the full integration of space technology satellite in the policies of Land Management and Civil Protection in this country, so as to substantially reduce their costs, however maximizing its efficiency and simultaneously enhancing access to spatial information with high added value to the entire public administration of Cape Verde
