João Pedro Barreiros was elected member of Portuguese Marine Academy

By proposal of two members from the Navy Academy from Portugal made early in 2014 and after a CV analysis Prof. João Pedro Barreiros was elected by unanimity as corresponding member in the class of Arts, Literature and Science of the Academy of Marine. The nomination process was completed on 2 December 2014 with a plenary Lecture in the Academy Venue, Lisbon, discussing the theme: Lessepsian Invasions: The biological crisis that followed the opening of the Suez Canal
