Artur Gil, is a Portuguese researcher specialized in Remote Sensing and Environmental Management. He received in 2017 de arard for  the Most productive Post-Doc of cE3c.

In the last three years he has become an important data modeler collaborating with researchers from several research centers in Portugal.

During the period 2014-2016 he published 17 articles in SCI journals (11 of which already in 2016), with a cumulative impact factor of 32.62, being the first author in five of these articles. In 2017 he has already published four articles.

He also leads the supervisionof PhD students and is a member of the team of at least five projects.
