Post-Doc Researcher

Gabor Pozsgai

I have been working as an entomologist/insect ecologist for almost twenty years on a variety of topics, ranging from leaf beetle taxonomy to climate change and land use impacts on insect assemblages. Currently I am working as a Post-Doctoral Researcher under the umbrella of the Island Biodiversity, Biogeography & Conservation Research Group, in the Island Arthropod Macroecology subgroup of cE3c. My main focus is on modelling macroecological patterns in the Macaronesian Islands and to investigate arthropod interaction networks. I received a Ph.D. in Ecology from the Aberdeen University, UK in 2017. I have worked in several countries including the UK, Paraguay and China.
