Jéssica Uchôa holds a bachelor in Geography and is a Master's student in Volcanology and Geological Risks. Her current research is focused on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in environmental and social analysis.
Currently she is a researcher within the project MaCoBioS-Marine Coastal Ecosystem Biodiversity and Services in a Changing World (2020, 2024), under the supervision of Artur Gil. It has the task of receiving, supporting the production and processing of geospatial and alphanumeric data and developing and managing the WebGIS platform of the MaCoBioS project.
