Chandrasekar Chinnarasu

I received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the  BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY, Coimbatore, India in 2017 and I am currently  working in the NPA research group. I am a researcher of RUGOFIX at the University of Azores. My research focuses on Economic valorisation of the invasive seaweed Rugulopteryx okamurae using a circular approach.  For many years I have been involved in Natural products research using green technology. My research contributions have been recognized through competitive international grants and honors across India, China, and Spain. In 2022, he received the Teachers Associateship for Research Excellence (TARE) awarded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) in India. Previously, he was awarded the Talented Young Scientist Program (TYSP) Fellowship in China (2019) and secured an eidA3-ceiA3 Grant in Spain (2013) to support co-supervised international doctoral research.
